Celebrating the 60th Annual
AMVETS 4th of July Parade
“Through the Decades”
What’s that you ask? All entries incorporate a decade into their float, unit, etc. Think of songs, tv shows, music groups, movies, and more when you think about how your float would represent your decade... 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 00’s.
This year Mayor Freeman selects his Grand Champion entry!
Family Wagon Floats!
Families – Using a wagon as your base, create a float that highlights your decade. Google “wagon float” for lots of great ideas! Prizes (Family Night - A night at the new Hyatt Hotel and large pizza from Fields of Pizza) for the best wagon float in each decade.
