The Boot Camp lager was originally brewed in honor of Corey Gierks, former assistant brewer at CBW who left this role to join the military. The beer was the last recipe that he and Head Brewer Scot Schaar made together. The beer continues to live on to honor Corey’s service as well as all those who put up the ultimate sacrifice to serve this country.
As a tribute, Corey has asked that $1 of every pint sold of the Boot Camp Lager on Sept. 4th be donated to a local organization that supports active military members.
