Quad Cities Legislative Days in Springfield 2018

Description

Every year, the Chamber organizes a delegation to visit each of our three capitols (Des Moines, Springfield, and Washington) with the aim to advocate for the needs of our communities, build partnerships to help accomplish our goals, and to provide an opportunity for our members to engage with policymakers and experts. In addition to meeting with our own elected officials, we will meet with leadership in the legislatures as well as our governors and key agencies.

Join us for our Annual Springfield Capitol Trip to promote policy priorities important to the region and to you! Your registration includes transportation, snacks on the bus, a one night hotel stay at the Double Tree Hotel by Hilton and attendance to the Quad Cities reception with leaders from all across the State's government and business community.

February 28
6:15am            Bus boards at Quad Cities Chamber office,
                         1201 River Drive, Moline
6:30am            Bus departs for Springfield
10:00am          Meeting with Governor Rauner

                        Meeting with House Minority
                        Meeting with Senate Majority    
                        Meeting with Senate Minority
5:00pm            Joint Reception with St. Louis Regional Chamber 
                        Sangamo Club
March 1
9:00am            Meeting with the Department of Commerce & Economic
                        Opportunity
10:15am          Meeting with the Illinois Department of Transportation
11:00am           Board bus to return to Quad Cities

Cancellations must be received at least 72 hours in advance in order to receive a registration refund. You may transfer your registration to another person within your company at no additional cost.
