What You’ll Do:
• Mid-Level Engineers: Assist in designing and reviewing electrical systems for various projects, including schools, nursing homes, housing authorities, churches, commercial, and government facilities. Collaborate with senior engineers and other disciplines to ensure compliance with design standards and project requirements.
• Senior Engineers: Lead and manage electrical design for complex projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and client expectations. Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on design, project management, and professional growth.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing facilities and monitor ongoing construction projects.
• Collaborate with Senior engineers and other disciplines to ensure seamless coordination of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Prepare detailed electrical design plans and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Review engineering plans to ensure compliance with electrical codes and industry standards.
• Design electrical transmission and distribution systems for a wide range of buildings and infrastructure.
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (required).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Iowa and/or Illinois (or ability to obtain licensure).
• Mid-Level Engineers: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering design.
• Senior-Level Engineers: 15+ years of experience, with advanced leadership, project management, and mentoring skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and project timelines effectively.
