Job Description:
The Family Credit Union is seeking a strategic, experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our executive leadership team. The COO will serve as a key partner to the CEO and oversee day-to-day operations, including branch performance, lending, member services, compliance, and IT.

This is a high-impact role for a collaborative leader who thrives on driving growth, enhancing efficiency, and building a strong, member-focused service culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily operational functions across all departments

• Ensure regulatory compliance and operational risk management

• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and member experience

• Collaborate with executive leadership to set and execute organizational goals

• Support technology integration and system improvements

• Foster a positive, team-oriented workplace culture

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, with at least 5 years in a senior operations leadership role

• Credit union experience strongly preferred

• Strong knowledge of compliance, risk management, and operational best practices

• Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional initiatives

• Strategic thinker with strong decision-making and communication skills

• Familiarity with core banking platforms such as Fiserv Portico
