Davenport, IA (August 9, 2022) – Revive at The Group Med Spa, announced that it has been named the fastest-growing company during the Quad Cities Regional Business Journal’s inaugural Fastest Growing Companies for 2022 banquet. The list recognizes the fastest-growing companies in the Quad City area from 2019 to 2021.
 
“We are honored to be nominated alongside many QC area companies and leaders,” said Dave Larson, Business Administrator at The Group. “Our growth is a direct result of the community and small business support we have received during some pretty challenging years.
 
“Though we opened our doors in 2017, our January 2020 expansion happened only 2 months prior to COVID. We moved into our new space, opened our doors, and immediately closed them. However, with our team’s effort and initiative we were able to remain active through our online sales store. The community and our clients showed up for us in a big way and we will forever appreciate their support. Without that support and our amazing team, we would not be where we are today.”
 
Dr. Jana Van Rybroek, physician of The Group Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialists, P.C. and Medical Director of Revive, said she is humbled by the recognition.
 
“The conception and success of Revive is thanks to many, including the late Dr. Anita L. Pinc who nurtured the spa from infancy and served as Medical Director,” said Dr. Van Rybroek. “Her focus on preventative medicine, lifelong wellness, and caring for others, naturally led to the creation of Revive at The Group Med Spa.

Revive is expanding in 2023, growing into an existing tenant space adjacent to Revive’s current location. Revive will soon occupy Suite 100 and Suite 200 on the corner of Eastern and 53^rd in Davenport. The added sq. footage will allow for more immediate scheduling opportunities due to the increased number of injectable, massage, laser, and aesthetic treatment rooms. The expansion will also include a larger front desk check-in area, along with a dedicated team training room.

Revive at the Group Med Spa not only topped the QCBJ’s inaugural list of Fastest Growing Companies by increasing its revenues 211% between 2019 and 2021, but the Davenport medical spa has its sights on expansion.

Revive’s triple-digit growth over the period is even more remarkable considering that it was shut down for two months in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic even before it could officially cut the ribbon on its then brand-new free-standing spa. Before that, Revive made its home next door in the building that houses The Group Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialists.

Revive was one of 15 dynamic companies recognized Tuesday, Aug. 9, at the Quad Cities Business Journal’s well-attended reception at Bally’s Quad Cities, Rock Island. Each Fastest Growing Company honoree was presented with a trophy at the first-time event. 

In his address to event attendees, Dave Larson, Revive’s business manager, gave the credit for Revive’s success and remarkable growth to the group of professionals that helped to create and guide the spa.
